Hundreds miss NEET exam in Karnataka, tweets CM

Hundreds of students from North Karnataka districts have missed the NEET examination being held on Sunday at Bengaluru due to a seven-hour delay of the Hampi Express, Karnataka chief minister H D Kumaraswamy tweeted through his official handle.

A last-minute change in the examination centres and lack of proper communication of the information allegedly created confusion among the students, the chief minister added.

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), earlier known as the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) is the entrance examination for aspirants who want to study graduate and post-graduate medical courses in either government or private colleges.
