Aam Aadami Party convener and Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal is set to address a “Haryana Bachao” rally in Hisar on March 25, AAP state president Naveen Jaihind said in Chandigarh on Saturday.
Briefing newspersons in this context, Jaihind said that the party workers will mobilise people of all 90 assembly segments to take part in the rally.
Alleging that the BJP government led by chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar had failed on all fronts, Jaihind said that people of all strata are disappointed with the government. “The BJP government, which promised 1 lakh jobs, has not even been able to employ 10,000 people even in the last three years’. Farmers and labourers too have been left high and dry,” Jaihind alleged.
Referring to the recent spate of crimes in the state, Jaihind said that lawlessness was prevailing in the state and the police was unable to control it.
To a query on AAP’s response to BJP chief Amit Shah’s visit to Jind on March 15, Jaihind held that the party workers will present “parkoras” to Shah as the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had mocked the unemployed by saying that even selling “pakoras” could get a person good money.
To another query, he said that the government should give ₹1 crore to martyrs’ kin and adopt martyr’s family as “nation’s family”.
