Noida International Airport Jewar LIVE: Ahead of the inauguration of phase 1 of the Noida International Airport on Saturday, the Noida Traffic Police has issued an advisory noting entry routes, parking zones and diversions for vehicles. The advisory is enforced from 7 am to 11 pm, with arrangements for emergency vehicles.

According to the advisory, the movement of heavy goods vehicles, medium goods vehicles, and light goods vehicles will remain restricted on the Noida–Greater Noida Expressway, Yamuna Expressway, and nearby routes. However, emergency vehicles will be allowed through this route.

Noida International Airport Jewar LIVE: Schools in Ghaziabad will remain open for physical classes on Saturday, March 28, after the district administration on Wednesday withdrew its earlier directive that had shifted classes online for the inauguration of the Noida International Airport in Jewar.

The March 24 directive had requisitioned 800 buses from schools to ferry “beneficiaries of government schemes” to the airport’s inauguration ceremony.

Noida Jewar Airport inauguration live: Zurich Airport International AG won the bid to develop the airport at Jewar and signed the concession agreement on October 7, 2020 through a special purpose vehicle, Yamuna International Airport Private Limited. YIAPL, incorporated on January 22, 2020, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG. Under the agreement, YIAPL has developed the airport under the design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) model for an initial concession period of 40 years.

Noida Jewar Airport inauguration live: The schools in Ghaziabad will remain open on Saturday, March 28, as the Ghaziabad district administration has cancelled its controversial March 24 direction that had ordered schools to hold online classes on March 28 ahead of the inauguration of the Noida International Airport in Jewar. In an order dated March 25 (Wednesday) addressed to school principals, and released to media on Thursday, district magistrate Ravinder Kumar Mandar stated: “The undersigned is directed to cancel, with immediate effect, the order … dated March 24, 2026. Consequently, classes in all schools of the district shall be conducted physically on March 28.”

As per the master plan submitted by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL), initial passenger traffic is forecast at 4 MPPA.
