The police attorneys further stated that the accused were carrying pamphlets depicting Prime Minister Modi as a missing person. These pamphlets offered a reward for finding him, purportedly from funds in a Swiss Bank. The accused portrayed the Prime Minister as if he were a wanted criminal.

The 15 MPs were suspended for demanding a discussion on the security breach, but no action is being taken against Pratap Simha.”

Union Minister Shobha Karandlaje on Thursday sought a thorough investigation into the security breach at Parliament and strict punishment against the offenders.

"Our request is that there should be a thorough investigation and offenders should be punished," Karandlaje told reporters.

Karandlaje, a BJP MP from Karnataka, is in charge of two ministries -- agriculture and food processing industries.

9 more opposition MPs suspended: Benny Behanan, VK Sreekandan, Mohammad Jawed, PR Natarajan, Kanimozhi Karunanidhi, K Subrahmanyam, SR Parthiban, S Venkatesan and Manickam Tagore-suspended from Lok Sabha for the rest of the session for “unruly conduct”.

MP Derek O’Brien’s continued presence in the House is an “absolute transgression of rules”, said Rajya Sabha chairman. He asked Mallikarjun Kharge to meet him in his chamber to discuss a way forward to conduct business of the House.

Proceedings will now resume at 4 p.m.

Five Congress MPs Prathapan, Hibi Eden, Kuriakose, Jothi Mani and Ramya Haridas. suspended for remainder of the session. They are suspended for “utter disregard” of the chair's direction.

The Delhi Police is conducting raids to the nab the sixth man suspected to be a key part of the group that breached Parliament, an officer said on Thursday.

A resident of Kolkata, Lalit Jha is a teacher by profession and was the main conspirator of the security breach, the person said.

Influenced by revolutionary Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Lalit and others were highly motivated to commit an act which could draw the country's attention to them.

TMC MP Derek O'Brien had demanded a discussion on the security breach incident, in which two men jumped from the visitors' gallery into the Lok Sabha and burst yellow smoke canisters.

Soon after, the Trinamool MP was named by the Rajya Sabha chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar and was asked to leave the House.

Despite the warning from the Chair, O'Brien and some other opposition members continued to protest, and demanded that union home minister Amit Shah be present in the House to answer for yesterday's security breach incident.
