In the past week, the proceedings in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha both have been disrupted by uproar and protests from the opposition parties. The Opposition is trying to corner the Centre on issues such price rise, inflation, unemployment, Agnipath military recruitment scheme, alleged misuse of investigating agencies against opposition leaders, etc. The monsoon session of the parliament will come to an end on August 12, if not called off sine die.

Both Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha have been adjourned for the day, and will resume at 11am tomorrow. The sixth day of the ongoing monsoon session saw continued protests, sloganeering and showing of placards by opposition MPs.
