PM Modi’s web portal launches e-greetings design contest to celebrate Eid

MyGov.in -- an interactive portal launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi -- has announced an e-greetings design contest to mark and celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr.

“MyGov.in is hosting an e-greetings design contest to mark this day and celebrate the spirit of Eid-Ul-Fitr by creating intriguing designs,” the post read.

The top three winners would be rewarded cash prizes of of Rs 10,000, Rs 7,500 and Rs 5,000 respectively.

A “standing committee” will select the designs to be published on the web portal from July 4 to 20. However, the top five designs would remain on the portal beyond the given time.

“The submissions should be in the portrait layout with the size 10x12cm and should not be copied,” it said.

Eid-Ul-Fitr will be celebrated in India on July 6 or 7, subject to the sighting of the moon.

The submission of entries would be considered till July 3, 11.00 am, it said.
