100 kids faint in Nagpur during Vande chant

About 100 students from four girls' schools were hospitalised after they fell unconscious during the Vande Mataram singing programme in Nagpur on Thursday.

Police said according to initial reports, the girls fell unconscious after the programme and were rushed to a private nursing home.

When contacted, Management of Rajkumar Kewal Ramani day-night school said a number of students were affected. They clamed that about 15 girls were taken to hospital, and some of them were discharged later.
