1100 short-listed for Wipro placement
A MEGA campus recruitment drive was organised at the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) today by leading software giant Wipro Infotech.
A MEGA campus recruitment drive was organised at the Oriental Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) today by leading software giant Wipro Infotech.
More than 5000 students participated in the selection process and of them 1100 were short-listed. The students came from various engineering colleges of Bhopal, Gwalior, Sehore, Vidisha, Indore, Raipur, Jabalpur, Bhilai, Bilaspur and Sagar.
Responding to the questions on the placement drive, students said that the selection procedure gave them job security and a good platform to perform better in future.
In the past too the OIST has facilitated students of various engineering colleges of the State in getting corporate placements with companies like Wipro, Satyam, Microsoft, HSBC, Mahindra, Airtel and Infobeans among other leading multinational companies.
Another two- day placement drive would be organised at the institute by Infosys Technology from February 10.
