At least 335 other buffaloes have been affected by the disease. Teams of veterinary doctors have been constituted and treatment to sick buffaloes is being provided. The disease is presently prevalent in Nasrullaganj and Budhni blocks of the district.
The sick cattle are being treated by administering barinil, chloroquin sulphate injections, oxytetracyclin, avil and other required medicines, an official release said on Thursday. Cattle owners have been advised to keep buffalo shacks and nearby areas clean and in a hygienic condition.
Sehore Collector Raghvendra Kumar Singh toured the affected areas today and reviewed arrangements.
