12 killed in Naxals attack near Ch'garh

The victims, including four women, were on their way to a marriage when the blast occurred in Gadchiroli district.

At least 12 members of a marriage party, including four women, were killed on Tuesday when Naxalites triggered a landmine blast in Gadchiroli district bordering Chattisgarh, police said.

The incident took place near Khalbera village when the victims were on their way from Sundernagar to Kanker district in Chattisgarh, police said.

The blast blew up the vehicle in which the marriage party was travelling, they said.
