Thirteen persons were injured, three of them seriously, in a powerful bomb explosion by ULFA in Lower Assam's Bongaigaon district this morning, police said.

The Programmable Time Device (PTD) was kept concealed inside a bicycle in Bongaigaon town's Paglathan Bazar.
The bomb went off at 9.30 am. When the area near rail gate was busy with shoppers creating chaos. People ran in panic and shop keepers downed their shutters.
The area has been cordened off, police said, adding the injured had been admitted to hospital where the condition of three was stated to be serious.
On Friday, the ULFA triggered a powerful blast at Fancy Bazar in Guwahati, targetting Hindi-speaking businessmen and injuring five persons.
