According to information, in the first shift of the examination, the team of the DIOS caught 15 students using unfair means at various examination centres.

Hindi (Second Paper) examination was scheduled for both High School and Intermediate students today. According to information, in the first shift of the examination, the team of the DIOS caught 15 students using unfair means at various examination centres. As many as 13 students were nabbed from Kasturba Gandhi Intermediate College under Sewapuri development block while two students were caught in Kalika Dham examination centre.
The second shift of the examination for Intermediate students was also conducted peacefully.The examinations were conducted at 157 centres in Varanasi district today. Around 10 examination centres have been declared hyper-sensitive in view of possibility of copying.
It may be mentioned that as many as 52,910 students are appearing in the High School examination whereas a total of 42,601 students are appearing in the Intermediate examination in the district this year. There are 51,322 regular students and 1,588 private candidates for High School examinations while 41,172 regular and 1429 private students are appearing in the Intermediate examinations.
Meanwhile, the district administration and the education department have decided to deploy a static magistrate at the examination centres on the day of the examination of main subjects to check copying in different centres.
A meeting was organised here on Monday to apprise the static magistrates about the process. As per information, the district administration has chalked a strategy in which the magistrates will spend three hours in the examination centres to check copying during the examination of some main subjects.The duties of the static magistrates will start from tomorrow. They will be deployed during the examination of Social Science (Paper I) on Tuesday. About 160 district level officers will also discharge their duties .
