At least 15 people were on Wednesday injured in a grenade attack in Doda district, official sources said.
Over 35 members of newly set up Village Defence Committees had come to collect weapons and ammunition at Ramleela ground in Doda town around 1440 hours when a grenade was hurled by some unidentified person, the sources said.
The grenade exploded in the Ramleela grounds where a BJP Dharna is continuing for the 16th day on Wednesday, they said.
The injured were hospitalised, the sources said adding this is the second grenade attack in the last four days in Doda.
On May 13, two BJP activists were killed and 42 injured in a grenade attack on a party rally in Doda.
Security forces swung into action and launched cordon and search operations in the area to track down the persons responsible for the act, they said.
