About 22 persons have been arrested on charges of rioting and atrocity after a group of villagers attacked tribal huts and set one on fire at Thangaon in Yeola taluka of the district, police said on Monday.
An irate group of villagers attacked tribal-huts and set one on fire following altercation with the tribals after the former's cattle strayed over the tribal agricultural land for grazing.
A woman was injured in the attack, police said.
The arrests were made late on Sunday night after a tribal lodged a complaint against the villagers at the Yeola police station.
