247 candidates file nominations on 5th day
Several Gujarat ministers, BJP and Cong MLAs of the dissolved assembly were among the 247 candidates who filed their papers for the Dec 12 polls on the 5th day of filing of nominations on Saturday.

Several Gujarat ministers, BJP and Congress MLAs of the dissolved assembly were among the 247 candidates who filed their papers for the December 12 polls on the fifth day of filing of nominations on Saturday.
A total of 621 candidates have filed nominations so far. Monday is the last day for filing nominations.
According to information reaching the State Election Office, 15 candidates, including Kodnani Mayaben, a sitting MLA, filed their nominations from Ahmedabad.
