Out of the elected members, three belonged to Lucknow and eight to Allahabad. Secretary of the Bar Council of UP Prem Nath Tyagi said the 25 members were Nakul Dubey, Ajay Yadav, Rohitashwa Kumar Agarwal, Gopal Narain Mishra, Pravin Kumar Singh, Amarendra Nath Singh, Abdul Razzaque Khan, Shahnawaj Rana, Birendra Kumar Srivastava, Ram Pratap Shukla, Ramesh Kumar Mehrotra ‘Rammi’, Surendra Mohan Yadav, Yogendra Swarup, Rama Kant Mishra, Dinesh Pathak, Shashi Kant Gupta, Arun Kumar Tripathi, Ajay Kumar Shukla, Balwant Singh, Vinod Kumar Singh, Hari Shankar Singh, Babu Ram Tewari, Manoj Kumar Rajvanshi, Panchu Ram Maurya and Banshi Dhar Singh alias Banshi Dada.
With the announcement of result, the counting for Bar Council election - 2005, which had been going on since August 25, 2005 came to an end.
Out of these members, the chairman and the vice-chairman will be elected for a period of one year.
