"An Assistant Sub-Inspector and four constables were killed by the Maoist rebels near Rahe village of Bundu block," said SN Pradhan, spokesperson of Jharkhand police.

He said the security personnel had gone to Bundu to review security of a bank. While they were returning, Maoist rebels belonging to Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) numbering more than 40 ambushed the police jeep.
