An estimated 51.87 per cent of 3.36 crore voters had cast their ballot in the second phase of the Lok Sabha polls to 24 constituencies in Maharashtra, state Election Office sources said on Tuesday.

The highest polling was registered in Kolhapur constituency where 70 per cent voters exercised their franchise while the lowest of 40.94 per cent was registered in Thane.
The election office had earlier estimated that around 48 per cent of voters had cast their votes in the second phase.
The first phase of Lok Sabha polls to 24 constituencies held on April 20 had recorded 56.43 per cent polling.
