A 12-year-old boy was killed when lightening struck him in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, police said in Jammu.
The incident occurred when Dheeraj Kumar, a 6th standard student, was playing in the fields and took shelter under a tree as it started raining heavily in Palmar village, they said.
