Nine Indian Oil Corporation officials, including General Manager for Rajasthan, were on Saturday sent to 15 days of judicial custody by a local court.

The officials were in Jaipur produced before Judicial Magistrate (Sanganer) who sent them to 15 days of judicial custody. The accused will be produced before the court again on July 17, Circle Officer Lalit Sharma told PTI.
The police had arrested Gautam Bose (General Manager), Rajesh Sayal (Chief of Operation), Shashank Shekhar (Manager-Operation), K S Kanojia (Senior Terminal Manager), Arun Poddar (Manager-Terminal), Kapil Goyal (Deputy Manager-Terminal), Ashok Gupta (Operation Officer), Kailash Nath Agarwal (Chargeman) and S S Gupta (DGM Pipeline) in the fire case, which claimed eleven lives on October 29 last year at Sitapura plant, around 20 kms from Jaipur.
