91 nominations rejected in Rajasthan during scrutiny

As many as 91 nominations were rejected from 110 constituencies during scrutiny of papers on Saturday, according to reports reaching the state election headquarters in Jaipur.

There had been no rejection of nomination paper of any prominent personality or official candidate of any major political party as per reports received from districts so far, Election Department sources said.

A total of 2185 candidates had filed 3427 sets of nomination papers for 200 seats for the December 1 elections.

The last date of withdrawal of papers is November 17.
