A horny chick or a confident dame?
Come summers and you'll see each one of them behind PVR ticket counters, SN-markets, GK shoe sales and Dilli haat jewellery stalls. Come summers and you'll also see each one of them with the same poker straight hair, golden brown streaks, tight hipsters, larger than life glares (on top of the head mind you, and did you just think they were for the eyes? Oh not in the day, silly!) and those pencil heels.
I happened to catch a latest flick last night with my sister and yes it was a multiplex with women oozing out. But, just as one almost always notices, I decided to say the thought aloud - Why do ALL the women look the same? I mean by the time you've had your first coffee at Barista you'll know that straight hair are still 'in' and that a black big thing with you would be called an 'expensive set of glares in vogue'!
And many women may not want to hear this, but hell its true - if you look at them they'll love it coz this is so the 'I envy you' look but if you don't then they'll just make you look at them. Bending at the right time, oops my strap just slid down my halter…oh and my most precious asset? My guy! If nothing else works, you just gotta look at the guy that they are with! Okay so what's my point? I'm coming to it ladies, just don't you get all fretting with my first few lines!
And so discussing all those 'chicks' I entered the hall...the movie seemed really good and I was glad the movie made 'sense' having risked the last of my pocket money on a new release.
But then these women did it again. One of the most intense scenes towards the end and I hear the smooch! Aaaargh! Lady, it's a new release, the scene is probably the climax of the three-hour show and there are people who're sitting trying to cash in their tickets. And maybe they even like the movie you know! However, the kiss happened (oh, was it the one? Oh sweetie, how do you feel?). But soon came the mommy-call! It's the pink motorazor and she thinks she's chatting with her ex in her living room! "Mommy I'm with Shikha, no no we're just watching a movie, and ya it's great, you should have come too you know…" I could slap her. Really. So, this was the highlight of my day. Women, women and more women. Doing the same old things, the same old attention tactics, their men, their sex and their boobs… Did someone beside me just say 'Get a life'? Wow, this was someone like me.
