Abhishek Bachchan is riding high on success. Things just couldn’t be better for junior B. He has an array of hits in 2005 and the New Year promises more success for him. In a close encounter, Abhi talks about his plans and aspirations from the coming year.

Are you happy with the kind of role you were offered in 2005?
I am satisfied and happy with the kind of offers that came my way last year. I hope 2006 is equally good for me. I have Bluffmaster,Kabhi AlvidaNaKehna and DhoomII lined up for release in 2006. I think I am going in the right direction.

You played the main character in Dhoom. Now, you are a part of it remake, DhoomII, as well. What is your take on remakes?
It is a good move. As an actor I always look forward to working in films which offer me different roles. There are certain legendary roles which an actor aspires to essay, say a Sholay or Don. I think it is courageous on the part of the directors also to present remake version of old films with their own modern input and perspective.

Do you ever feel disappointed when you look back at series of your flop film?
Every film has taught me something. I never regret doing any film. I don’t think any role was thrusted upon me.

Who will you like to credit for the success of super hits like Bunty and Bubly, Dhoom etc.
I wont take the credit for any of these hits. Filmmaking is a team work. We sink together we float together. My job is to act well and the rest depend on others. That’s it.
