The 'National Integration' would travel nearly 820 km in four days to cover 12 districts in the state before moving to Maharashtra, BJP spokesperson Purshottam Rupala said.

Chief Minister Narendra Modi would accompany Advani in the state, he said.

Rupala added that Advani would also address public gathering at Rajkot, Ahmedabad, Baroda and Surat in the state.

Advani had announced the party's plans to undertake the twin 'National Integration' Yatra (party president Rajnath Singh will lead another yatra) a day after the Varanasi bomb blasts with the objective of "creating public awareness about the minority appeasement policies of the UPA Government and the threat it posed to the nation's unity and integrity".
