Ahimsa Club, Jai Hind Club in next round

AHIMSA CLUB and Jai Hind Club today entered the next round of the 25th Kamarlal Chaudhary Memorial Cricket Tournament being organised by Tiger Sports and Cultural Club at Bab-e-Aali Stadium. In the first match, Ahimsa Club defeated Mahatma Gandhi Club by 83 runs.

AHIMSA CLUB and Jai Hind Club today entered the next round of the 25th Kamarlal Chaudhary Memorial Cricket Tournament being organised by Tiger Sports and Cultural Club at Bab-e-Aali Stadium. In the first match, Ahimsa Club defeated Mahatma Gandhi Club by 83 runs.

After winning the toss, Ahimsa Club decided to bat first and scored 155 runs for the loss of four wickets in 25 overs. Ravi was the highest scorer with unbeaten 49 runs. Chasing the target, irresponsible batting by Mahatma Gandhi Club saw the team struggling for runs. Their poor batting restricted the team to 72. Rakesh Katare claimed five wickets. He was declared Man of the Match.

Second match of the day played between Jai Hind Club and Shravan Arts Club witnessed fine batting performance by the former. With the help of unbeaten 118 runs by Virendra Vaid, Jai Hind set a huge 208 runs target for the loss of one wicket. Chasing a huge total, Sravan Arts Club were all out for 143. Virendra was declared Man of the Match.
