Ahmed Patel meets Sharad Pawar to discuss Govt formation

Ahmed Patel, Political Secretary to Congress President Sonia Gandhi on Friday met NCP Chief Sharad Pawar as efforts gained momentum for the formation of Congress-led coalition Government at the Centre.
The meeting took place at Pawar's residence, a day after Congress formally invited NCP to join the Government.
The NCP had sought to know on Thursday a criteria for representation of allies in the ministry and Sharad Pawar-led party is likely to take a decision on joining the Government later in the day.
