Ministry of Health and Family Welfare
India's nodal ministry for health issues, the ministry is also in charge of NACO, the National AIDS Control Organisation.
The National AIDS Control Organisation, this is the nodal body for all of Indian government's AIDS work.
National AIDS Control Programme
A high powered National AIDS Committee was constituted in 1986 after the first AIDS case was detected in Indian and a National AIDS Control Programme was launched in year 1987.
