Akhilesh refutes Rahul?s charges

Akhilesh was speaking to mediapersons before taking out a cycle rally in support of party candidate Raj Kumar Chaudhary.

The rally was taken out from Ratapur crossing in the city to Murai ka Bagh, covering a distance of 30 km. He said there might have been just one or two instances when the State Government may not have been able to help due to a number of reasons. He denied that the Rae Bareli by-election was a Rahul Gandhi vs Akhilesh Yadav affair. He said the Congress and the Samajwadi Party were in the fray.

He further said Raj Kumar Chaudhary was a candidate of the poor and the common man.
