Even after repeated refusals from the father, the boy is said to have kept asking him for money to buy chocolates.

Father, reportedly a raging alcoholic, irritated by his son’s incessant requests, lifted his child, threw him on the ground and crushed his chest with his feet. The boy died on the spot.

The father fled the scene after the incident. It was not clear whether he was under the influence of alcohol when he committed the crime.

The boy’s family cremated his body without informing the police.

Kaushambi superintendent of police, VK Mishra, denied knowledge of the incident. However, he promised strict action against the father if anyone files complaint.
