Security forces have busted a militant hideout and recovered ammunition and explosives from it in Surankote area of Poonch district, a defence spokesman said in Jammu on Saturday.

On specific information, a joint column of Rashtriya Rifle troops and Territorial Army on Friday busted the hideout in Tindura belt of Surankote tehsil, about 210-kms from Jammu, he said.

The recoveries from the hideout included 35 rounds belted PIKA ammunition, 13 rounds loose PIKA ammunition, one AK magazine, 26 rounds of AK ammunition, three chinese grenades among other things.
