Having worked with the artisans and craftsmen all over the country, Anju Modi has unmatched knowledge of the traditional craft forms, right from tie n' dye of Gujarat, kota of Rajasthan to Chanderi weaving patterns. Her standapart quality lies in modifying these traditional crafts for the modern consumer yet preserving the richness of the craft and tradition.
'ANJUMAN' in Friends Colony East and 'ANJU MODI' in 1 MG Road are her two flagship retail stores in New Delhi. Also, Anju's clothes currently retail from Ogaan-New Delhi, Elahe'-Hyderabad, Mogra-Bangalore, Evoluzione-Chennai and Zinnia-Kuwait.

The force of duality in nature is paradoxically the reason for its harmony. the creation of polar opposites coexisting in a 'yingyang' way is the essence of life, creation and recreation.
Colours: Woody Brown, Fresh Green and Kiwi Green, Teel and Aquamarine, Ecru, Splashes of Silver and Ruby Red
Fabric: Dupion Silk, Butter Silk, Chiffon, Georgette and Crochet Laces
Treatment: Textures contrast plain stitches - rouching, negative embroidery and macrame. Silver Foil and 3-D rubber printing.
Silhouettes: Flowy skirts, jodhpuris and knee-length capris adapted to the Indian context. Asymmetrical lines with a mix of skin revealing, baggy, oversized draped shape.
