"We all are against corruption...we have to work in accordance with the Constitution written by Babasahed Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar," Paswan told reporters in Bhadoi.

He said sit-ins in Delhi would not find a solution to the deep-seated problem of corruption, he said what would happen if one lakh people start staging dharna in the national capital demanding reservation for Muslims or their ouster from the country.

"What would happen than? Reservation would be given to the community or it would be driven out," he said, adding that the method adopted by Team Anna to combat corruption was wrong.

Paswan said the LJP would not forge alliance with any party and contest all 403 seats in the forthcoming Uttar Pradesh assembly elections.

He alleged that BSP supremo Mayawati recalls her dalit identity only when she is in trouble, otherwise she always ignores the downtrodden.

The former minister said the UP chief minister speaks about a particular caste, whereas there were several castes in the backward class.
