Satisfied with the probe, the high court closed the petition filed by National Commission for the Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) seeking completion of probe by the CBI and conclusion of trial in the case in a time-bound period.

The case came up for hearing before the division bench comprising chief justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul and justice Augustine George Masih on Saturday.

The NCPCR had, on May 9, 2012, conducted a raid at Rohtak's Apna Ghar, helmed by Jaswanti Devi, and rescued 103 inmates from sexual and physical abuse. The inmates were later accommodated in various shelter homes across the state and CBI had been probing the case.
