Assam Chief Minister admitted to hospital in Delhi

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi was on Saturday admitted to a private hospital in New Delhi after he complained of high blood pressure, official sources said in Guwahati.

Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi was on Saturday admitted to a private hospital in New Delhi after he complained of high blood pressure, official sources said in Guwahati.

Gogoi (76), who had gone to New Delhi to attend the National Development Council meeting, complained of high blood pressure this morning after which he was admitted to the hospital for constant monitoring and thorough check up, they said.

Doctors attending on Gogoi said his condition was now stable and was likely to be discharged on Sunday, they said.
