Attend court, revenue officers told

COMMISSIONER DR Lalit Varma has directed all revenue officers to sit in the revenue courts for at least four days in a week. The order has been passed in a bid to speed up the disposal of old revenue cases following directive from the government. He advised revenue officers to maintain case diaries and keep an eye on subordinates.

Addressing DMs, ADMs, SDMs and other officials he advised them to decide pending cases on merit basis. The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner, Administration, Sandeep Sharma, DM Pratapgarh RS Varma, DM Fatehpur Girdhari Lal and other officials.
