Detailed agenda, carrying information about the issues to be taken up at the meeting, has already been despatched to the council members by the registrar.
A senior member of the Executive Council Sunit Vyas said that members of Executive Council were unanimous about the need for immediate formal control of the AU on MLN Medical College and the SRN Hospital.
He said that since the High Court had already confirmed the status of the MLN Medical College as part of the Allahabad University, the AU administration should take over the financial matter of the said colleges and disburse salary and other perks to college staff.
The AU administration, Vyas said, could seek funds from the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Another issue which would be raised at the meeting is the de-linking efforts by the management of the proposed KNMPGI.
