Bangladesh has approved the chemical weapons draft to make international convention rules effective in the country.
Bangladesh has approved the draft of Chemical Weapons (Prohibition) Act, 2006 to make international convention rules effective in the country, officials said on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's cabinet approved the draft of the Act late on Monday.

The meeting, presided over by the Prime Minister, also approved the draft of Product Levelling Act, 2006 aiming to ensure free access of local products to the world market and protect the rights of the consumers.
