Babbar was speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of Chaudhari Mahadev Prasad Degree College Students Union.

Babbar said that the Jan Morcha can promote the student leaders if the student unions give it the capable leaders. Babbar condemned the brutal lathi-charge on farmers protesting at Dadri and charged the state government with adopting anti-farmer, anti-student and anti-people policies.

He said that the unemployment dole is just a political stunt and employment to 10,000 jobless youths could have been a better option.

Babbar questioned the working of the state government and called it to be under control of capitalists.

He said that all the policies and planning of the state government are motivated by the capitalist ideology and thus only the capitalist and dear ones of Samajwadi Party leaders are taking advantage of such policies.

He said that the poor farmers, students and weaker sections of the society were the losers in the Samajwadi Party-led state government.

Guest of honour at the function Vinod Singh in his speech said that the future belongs to the farmers and students. He said that the if the Jan Morcha comes to power then the party will implement policies for the welfare of the students and farmers. The party will stop reduction in seats and implement central fee structure in the varsity.

He said that Jan Morcha will extend the limit of minimum passing candidates in PCS (preliminary) exams upto 10 percent of the appearing candidates, and transfer the examinations conducted by Lower Commission to the UP Public Service Commission.

Earlier CMPDC principal Dr VK Sinha welcomed the guests while CMPDC student union president Dhananjay Singh Surya presented the welcome speech. Student leader Rajesh Singh conducted the programme.
