Bangalore: Fire Force to inspect WC venue

A team of Fire Force officials would inspect the M Chinnaswamy cricket Stadium on Thursday, the venue for the World Cup matches, to review the fire safety measures.

The team after inspecting the fire safety measures would offer guidance and suggetions to the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA), DGP Fire Force D V Guruprasad said in a statement here today.

Fire Force teams with required equipment would be deployed at the stadium during the five World Cup matches to be played here, he said.

India will play England in a group B league match in Bangalore on February 27.
