Bangladesh on Wednesday condemned the deadly rush-hour bomb blasts in Mumbai as a "cowardly and dastardly terrorist act," a foreign office spokesman said.

"Bangladesh has always stood against terrorist acts in all forms," said the spokesman, Zahirul Haq.
Bangladesh Prime Minister Khaleda Zia expressed her sorrow at the loss of life, telling Manmohan Singh in a message that she hoped New Delhi would bring the culprits to book, the state-run BSS news agency said.
