Pardeep Yadav, who works with a news channel, was arrested after he allegedly rammed his Pajero SUV into his neighbour Sanjeev Kumar’s bike in a bid to settle an old score.

Kumar had a narrow escape in the incident which took place on October 22.

Yadav said the case has been filed against him as he exposed Kumar's illegal act. He approached Gurgaon police commissioner KK Sindhu who assured an investigating into the matter. Yadav also said that he can produce the live footage to prove his argument.

According to the police, Kumar and Yadav had an old enmity as their family members had contested the panchayat elections against each other some time back. Yadav has been booked under Sections 307 (attempt to murder) and 427 (damaging property) of IPC.
