Addressing journalists, legislators and senators at Sheikhupura Press Club here Rashid said Bhutto's political career depends on the Swiss court's verdict, which would be announced before the 2007 elections, Daily Times reported.
This case before the court pertains to allegations that Bhutto and her husband Asif Ali Zardari purchased prime property in Britain, sold it and deposited the money in a Swiss bank.
Rashid stressed that all the cases against Benazir Bhutto were brought during Nawaz Sharif's government and not a single case was filed by the current government.
Both Bhutto and Sharif are currently engaged in confabulations in Dubai and London to forge a common front to take on President Pervez Musharraf in the parliamentary elections due next year.
They have vowed to return home in time for the elections and face the risk of being arrested on arrival.
