Bharti Tele-Ventures, India's leading telecom conglomerate, has been adjudged the 'Asian MobileNews Mobile Operator of the Year' in India for the second time.
Bharti Tele-Ventures, India's leading telecom conglomerate, has been adjudged the 'Asian MobileNews Mobile Operator of the Year' in India for the second time.

The award presented annually by Asian MobileNews Awards, recognises outstanding performance by companies in Asia in the telecom industry. Bharti has won this award for the second consecutive year.
These awards were announced in Singapore and come close on the heels of Bharti winning Telecom Asia's 'Best GSM Carrier in Asia' award. The company has won a series of awards in the last 12 months, each recognising Bharti's superior service and performance.
AsiaMobile News award winners are peer selected and chosen on the basis of votes cast by mobile users for a select list of nominees, who are in turn selected on the basis of mobile technology innovation and business performance in the preceding fiscal.
Bharti Enterprises chairman and group managing director Sunil Bharti Mittal said, "I am pleased to accept yet another global al honour for Bharti. This award is special since it comes from our peers not just in India but all of Asia. I thank all our stakeholders including our valued customers, channel partners and our employees for enabling us to emerge as one of Asia's finest telecom service."
Bharti Tele-Ventures is one of India s leading private sector provider of telecommunications services with an aggregate of 12.70 million customers as of end of May 2005, consisting of approximately 11.8 million mobile customers.
The company is the only operator to provide mobile services in all the 23 circles in India.
