Talking to media in the City, Bhupendra said that the camp would help him in promoting the game in the country. “The camp aims to provide all the necessary training about the new rules and regulations pertaining to the game,” said the coach.
Eklavya award recipient Bhupendra has the credit of developing three international and ten national level players. About the future of the game, Bhupendra said that fencing is getting popular in India.
“We won bronze in the Commonwealth Games and Asian Championship. It suggests that India is doing well at the international level,” said Bhupendra. He lauded the efforts done by the sports department in promoting fencing in the state. Bhupendra will be given all necessary support, Vikas Kharadkar of the sports department said.
