It seems Sujoy is keen on going for a hattrick with Big B as besides this, he is planning another film with the actor, which would be penned by a contemporary Bengali author.

Sujoy confirmed the news and said, “I had first approached Mr Bachchan with the script of Borivli. I couldn’t afford the film’s high budget earlier as it is a futuristic and dark film for which we will have to shoot in specially designed trains. So, I decided to first make Aladdin immediately after a happy film like Jhankaar Beats in 2003.”
