Bihar cabinet: Rameshwar Paswan to be inducted

Rameshwar Paswan of JD(U) will be inducted into the Nitish Kumar cabinet in place of Jitan Ram Manjhi.

Rameshwar Paswan of JD(U) will be inducted into the Nitish Kumar cabinet in place of Jitan Ram Manjhi, who had resigned hours after being sworn in on November 24, official sources said on Saturday.

Sources said Paswan, party MLA from Sikandra, will be administered oath of office and secrecy by Governor Buta Singh at Raj Bhavan on Sunday.

Paswan, who had won the last election on LJP ticket before crossing over to JD(U), is being inducted to give adequate representation to Dalits after the exit of Manjhi, who was also a Dalit leader.
