In a daring operation, the proscribed CPI (Maoist) ultras killed 12 people, including two policemen and a warder, set free many of their incarcerated comrades and other prisoners and kidnapped an unspecified number of rival 'Ranvir Sena' men in coordinated attacks on Jehanabad jail and Police Lines, about 50 km from the state capital, on Sunday night.
