Bihar road rage: Rocky Yadav remanded in 2-day police custody

A Bihar court on Wednesday sent Rakesh Ranjan Yadav alias Rocky, son of JD(U) MLC Manorama Devi, to two days of police custody for allegedly killing a student for overtaking his vehicle in Bihar.

A Bihar court on Wednesday sent Rakesh Ranjan Yadav alias Rocky, son of JD(U) MLC Manorama Devi, to two days of police custody for allegedly killing a student for overtaking his car.

The court had sent Rocky Yadav to a 14-day judicial custody, on Tuesday.

He is accused of killing a Class XII student,Aditya Sachdeva, after his car overtook Yadav’s SUV on Saturday night.

Rocky Yadav went missing after the incident and was arrested early on Tuesday, fifty hours later.

He is currently lodged in Gaya central jail along with his father, RJD strongman Bindi Yadav, and his mother’s bodyguard Rajesh Kumar.

Bindi and Rajesh were arrested on Sunday for allegedly helping Rocky Yadav escape.
