Several birds, including three peacocks, were found dead at a Khedanrela village around 110 km from Shajapur, police said on Friday.

The dead birds were found by villagers on Thursday after which a team of doctors was sent to the spot, police said.

The villagers also found three dogs that apparently died after eating the birds, official sources said, adding a blind peacock was found wandering nearby.

Veterinary doctors were trying to find the cause of deaths, police added.
