BJP candidates seek tickets for polls

THE BHARATIYA Janata Party (BJP) candidates from Kanpur City and Dehat staked their claim for tickets for the ensuing assembly election here on Sunday. They put up their claims before the party observers.

THE BHARATIYA Janata Party (BJP) candidates from Kanpur City and Dehat staked their claim for tickets for the ensuing assembly election here on Sunday. They put up their claims before the party observers.

Several party leaders including present MLA from Kalyanpur Premlata Katiyar, MLA from Cantonment area Satish Mahana and MLA from Generalganj Salil Bishnoi were present on the occasion.

The candidates put up their points before the observers who included MLC Vibhuti Narain Singh and former MP Manoj Sinha. Both Kanpur Dehat and the City have seven constituencies each.

From Kanpur City’s Kalyanpur area Premlata Katiyar put her claims with Manoj Misra. From Cantonment area, besides present MLA Satish Mahana, Ramgopal Jaiswal and Vinod Shula stked their claims.

Similarly, from Generalganj Salil Bishnoi presented his case and sought the party ticket for the second time. From Aryanagar Rabindra Patni and Dr Diwakar Misra staked their claims for tickets. Radhey Shyam Pandey district president of the party from South city also put forward his claim for ticket from Govindnagar.

Many candidates from Sarsaul, Sisamau from city and from Derapur, Bhognipur, Ghatampurpur, Chaubeypur, Bilhaur and Sarvan Kheda sought party tickets.

Besides there many who sought party tickets for the ensuing assembly elections.According to BJP leaders, the report collected by the two observers would be submitted before the State leadership for a final decision in this regard.
